Every day, Floridians face some of the worst traffic in the country. For example, Miami residents spend 105 hours stuck in traffic each year. That’s over four full days of staring at brake lights. This congestion costs drivers close to $1,500 a year.
Relieving this congestion will require improving Florida’s infrastructure. Luckily, a proposed update to federal law could make that possible.
