On July 15, 2020, the White House Council on Environmental Quality announced its final rulemaking reforms to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) implementation procedures. The final rule became effective on September 14, 2020.
The Unlock American Investment coalition is supportive of these updates to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) implementing regulations to modernize the Federal environmental review and permitting process with the goal of increasing infrastructure investment and project development in a manner that strengthens our economy and enhances environmental stewardship.
